Participation of our service users is vital to the success of the work of the Children's Trust.  The Voice, Influence and Participation (VIP) Guidance has been co-produced by young people, reflecting what they want from services provided for them. The principles outlined are key to developing successful, sustainable and valued services, focussed on the needs of the young individuals that use them.  A copy of this guidance can be found on the 'Your Voice' page of ReadingYouth.com (link on the right of the page).

The Trust works closely with the Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) which has a statutory responsibility to hold all organisations and partnerships to account for the extent to which their services adequately promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people.   A link to the LSCB website can be found to the right of this page.  A protocol agreement between the Children's Trust Board and the LSCB has been agreed which details what is expected of each Board to ensure a productive working relationship.   This can be found in the Children's Trust Board Documents page.
